Ukandu's 2024 Annual Golf Tournament Presented by Walsh Construction was a swinging success! Thanks to the generous support from this year's sponsors, golfers, and volunteers we raised over $75,000 to support our year-round programs making this our most successful golf tournament to date!

Ukandu has been fortunate over the years to develop strong relationships with a number of incredible community organizations. 2023 saw the formation of a new, meaningful, partnership with local brand ‘Chocolat-e.’

Thanks to a grant from OHSU’s Knight Cancer Institute Community Partnership Program, Ukandu spent the last 14 months performing primary research to identify potential gaps in services available to families impacted by a childhood cancer diagnosis.

We have long believed that a childhood cancer diagnosis impacts the entire family. And while the impulse is, understandably, to focus attention on the patient or survivor, parents and siblings face their own hardships that are often ignored or misunderstood.

Ed 'Yogi' Burke has been a volunteer, and integral part of Ukandu, for the past nine years.
