Ukandu is, first and foremost, a volunteer-driven organization. We are grateful for the hundreds of volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to providing families impacted by childhood and adolescent cancer hope, joy, and connection.
Whether you are looking to volunteer at The Loft or spend a full week at one of our residential camp programs, there is an opportunity to get involved.

Our programs are 100% free of charge to the families we serve - something that can only be accomplished with the help of over 200+ volunteers who make our two, week-long, residential camps and other year-round programs possible.
Recurring Opportunities
Loft Generalist
Support participants across Loft spaces and experiences, with a commitment of at least one four-hour shift each month for six months.
Loft Receptionist
Welcome families and support smooth, organized daily operations, with a commitment of at least one four-hour shift each month for six months.
Annual Opportunities
Camp Ukandu
Camp volunteers make a full-week, on-site, overnight commitment and complete required training before campers arrive.
